The Field Methods in Marine Research Oceanography course offered through Kean University includes a one-week field excursion to Little Cayman in the Cayman Islands. CCMI partners with Kean at the Little Cayman Research Centre as these students develop their field identification skills and research methods, then conduct their own independent field research on the topic of their choice. A seminar that addresses the impact on human rights and democracy of the 800-year-old Magna Carta. The University of West Indies Open Campus, along with the Constitutional Affairs and Parliamentary Studies Unit of St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Magna Carta 800th Anniversary Committee, will host the seminar, titled “Magna Carta and Human rights in Cayman Islands.”
